For the lying position, we recommend positioning the DUT facing up. Using that
position, the millimeter wave image also shows the DUT facing up.

For the upright position, we recommend positioning the DUT facing towards the
R&S
QAR50. Using that position, the millimeter wave image shows the DUT facing
up.

Assume that you want to evaluate a millimeter wave image of this Rohde
&
Schwarz
logo. The resulting image should show the logo the right way around.
Regardless of the position of the R&S
QAR50, the center of the logo should be aligned
with the center of the clusters. The plate with the logo is thin, so the distance from each
cluster is about 0.5
m. Thicker DUTs might require a different distance to the clusters -
whatever the case, make sure that the distance from both clusters is the same.

With this DUT position, the R&S
QAR50 creates an image that shows the complete
logo. To get an image that is also displayed the right way around in the result display,
position the DUT as follows.
