Setting parameters:
<ChannelName1>
String containing the name of the channel you want to rename.
<ChannelName2>
String containing the new channel name.
Note that you cannot assign an existing channel name to a new
channel. If you do, an error occurs.
Channel names can have a maximum of 31 characters, and
must be compatible with the Windows conventions for file
names. In particular, they must not contain special characters
such as ":", "*", "?".
Example:
INST:REN 'Receiver','REC'
Renames the channel with the name 'Receiver' to 'REC'.
Usage:
Setting only
INSTrument[:SELect]
<ChannelType> | <ChannelName>
This command activates a new channel with the defined channel type, or selects an
existing channel with the specified name.

Parameters:
<ChannelType>
Channel type of the new channel.
For a list of available channel types see
<ChannelName>
String containing the name of the channel.
Example:
INST IQ
Activates a channel for the I/Q Analyzer application (evaluation
mode).
INST 'MyIQSpectrum'
Selects the channel named 'MyIQSpectrum' (for example before
executing further commands for that channel).
SYSTem:PRESet:CHANnel[:EXEC]
This command restores the default <instrument> settings in the current channel.
Use
INST:SEL
to select the channel.
Example:
INST:SEL 'Spectrum2'
Selects the channel for "Spectrum2".
SYST:PRES:CHAN:EXEC
Restores the factory default settings to the "Spectrum2" channel.
