22. ALWAYS
make certain the tool is at right
angles (90°) in both directions to the work
surface before firing (

23. NEVER
fire tool at an angle to the work
surface.

use the tool at or near the extremities
of your reach. (see illustrations

25.IF A LOADED TOOL JAMS
in the firing
position, it should be locked in a secure
place where no harm could result if it
accidentally discharged.
DO NOT
attempt
to make any adjustments to the tool.

26.IF A MISFIRE OCCURS
the tool should
be kept firmly against the worksurface for
a short time. Refer to the local PA Tool
Regulations for the minimum delay time.

27.NEVER
use Ramset Power Loads in
firearms. They are much more powerful than
ordinary ammunition and must be used only in
powder-actuated tools.
28.ALWAYS
wear safety eye and hearing
protection when using a PA Tool (
