Overdriving of fastener. Excess power. Use a lower strength power load or reduce
power setting with adjuster wheel.
Difficulty in recycling Bent or damaged piston. Check piston. If end is mushroomed, replace
the tool.
Rough action. Excessive build up of Disassemble tool, clean, lightly oil with Ramset
carbon residue. PA Oil and re-assemble.
Piston not returning to Ensure piston is fully retracted by opening
full rear position. the tool sharply to its fullest extent.
Faulty piston circlip. Remove piston. Replace piston circlip.
Build up of dirt in tool. Clean tool parts.
Broken piston. Replace piston.
Damage to Retractor Pawl. Replace Retractor Assembly.
Failure of tool to depress Disassemble tool and check all parts for
completely. correct assembly.
Build up of dirt within the Clean breech face. If difficulty is still
tool not allowing firing pin encountered, return tool to authorised
to function correctly. Ramset Tool Service Centre.
Cartridge strip damaged. Remove and replace with new cartridge strip.
