The Ramset Powder Actuated Fastening System
PA (Powder Actuated) or Ramset PA is a system for
fastening construction materials to concrete, steel
and brick. Described generally as powder-actuated it
eliminates drilling, plugging and bolting etc. Since its
introduction, when used correctly, it has proven to
be a safe, efficient fastening method.
The Ramset PA Fastening System consists of
a tool, a fastener and a power load. Fasteners
are basically of two types: Drive Pins, which are
used for permanent fixing and Threaded Studs,
which are used for attaching removable pre-drilled
materials to concrete, steel and brick.
Ramset PA tools and fasteners are the product
of our continual research in the field of
powder-actuated fastening systems. They are
manufactured by Ramset under the strictest quality
control in our own ISO9001 accredited plants.
Important
No one should attempt to operate a
Ramset PA tool before reading this
manual.
Powder Actuated tools are sometimes
subject to control by Government
Regulations. Check the regulations in
your area before using the tool. Your
Ramset supplier can advise you on this
matter.

powder-actuated tool without adequate,
competent personal instruction and
careful study of this instruction book and
any local government regulations.
