A.9.5 E1 Clock Set
In system setting menu press number key 5 to configure E1 clock:
Using Clock: Master Clock
In this status, use

key to change the configuration; ENTER and E keys both indicate confirm the
operation and press ESC key to cancel.
Clock modes: Master clock
Slave clock (1 E1)
Slave clock (2 E1)
Slave clock (3 E1)
Slave clock (4 E1)

To Adapt Clock: Auto
There are two ways to adapt clock:
Auto & Manual
In Auto Adapt Clock mode RC3000 will set a steady clock mode according to E1 using status and
board information.
When there are alarms, system will judge whether to change the clock mode, if necessary RC3000
will find a valid clock to synchronous.
In any status, press ENTER to confirm configuration (or press ENTER until the configuration
finished), press E key to finish configuration, and ESC to cancel configuration.
A.9.6 Net channel Set
In system setting menu press number key 6 to configure network management channel:
Using Time Slot: 0 Time Slot
In this status, use
→
key to change the configured value; use
↓↑
to change items (using time slot &
net topology); Press ENTER to confirm configuration, press E key to finish configuration, and ESC
to cancel configuration.
Using time slots are:
0 time slot & 1 time slot
Network management topologies are: Single E1 Direction, Double E1 Direction, Three E1 Direction
and Four E1 Direction.
RC3000 has an assistant network management channel, with DIP switches on front panel, all
RC3000 devices can be managed. To realize whole network management the following rules must be
obeyed:
If time slot 0 is network management channel, the maximum rate of serial data is 2400bps, otherwise
there will be error codes.
If time slot 1 is network management channel, the serial data rate can be up to 9600bps and time slot
1 cannot be cross connected, otherwise RC3000 will work abnormally.
