Light the fire and shut the
door, leaving an open gap
of approx. 10-15 mm.
Lighting and Stoking
To light the stove, use alcohol briquettes or similar,
as well as approx. 2 kg of firewood, split into kindling
sticks. Set the air damper to the fully open position.
Be carefull not to place the firewood too close to the
opening and glass.
TIPS before firing up:
Open a door or window close to the wood burning
stove.
If there is wind in the stove coming from the chim-
ney, it is advisable to place a curled-up piece of
newspaper between the upper baffle plate and the
chimney, set the paper on fire, and wait until you
hear a “rumbling” noise in the chimney. This means
that there definitely is a draft in the chimney and
you avoid smoke in the room.
