9-2 Post Mission Maintenance
•
Washing Raider with fresh water
When the engine has been used in salt water or polluted water, wash the exterior and flush the
cooling passage with fresh water. This can be done by applying “EARS” over intake.
Connect
hose to “Ears” and place over intake. Turn on Hose; start Raider 50. Water will come through
outlet port at top. Run until fuel runs out.
Place “Ears” firmly over intake
