Miscellaneous indicators
The new reset LED and POST LED are available on the top side of CE915GM modules. For
locations of these LEDs, see
Figure 2 on page 11
.
Reset LED
The reset LED indicates the system reset status. This LED is illuminated during system
reset.
POST LED
The POST LED indicates the BIOS running status during system boot. The LED monitors the
POST progress to help you analyze boot failures when no POST80 card is attached to your
carrier board.
The POST LED turns on and off four times during boot up, as shown in
Figure 10
Should
the BIOS fail at any of these stages, the system may hang before loading the operating
system. Upon successful completion of these stages, the operating system will load.
