A discharged battery may take up to a day to fully charge. Meanwhile, light may remain on.

If you have powered up your Verbatim without connecting a live telephone line to the

unit you may observe that the TFAIL indicator is on. This indicates that the unit is

checking for the presence of a telephone connection and attempting to determine the
