Input A Filter Check

Set the counter to its home state. Select 50 ohms input impedance for
input A.

Connect the counter to the signal generator as shown in Figure 4-12.

Set the signal generator to 50 kHz, 10 mV. Increase the signal generator output level
until the counter gives a stable reading. Note the signal generator output level.

Enable the counters input A filter (Command code AFE) and verify that the 2251A
no longer counts. Increase the signal generator until the counter gives a stable
reading.Note the signal generator output level and verify that this level is approximately
twice the level previously noted.

Disconnect the test equipment.
