Rotor speeds

Rotor speed and towing speed (

max. approx.

 

8 km/h 

/ 5 mph

) have a decisive influence on the desired 

quality of soil breaking. 

Select the lowest possible speed for a given quality of 
operation. 

Note that higher rotor speeds increase the amount of 

knife tine wear.

Use only the turning speeds listed in the table; the ap-

proximate towing speeds listed there (in km/h) must 

be maintained (with correct ratio of implement-to-tow-

ing speed).

Gear set options:

 Default configuration includes a 

29/36 gear pair (29 = input shaft). 

Reposition this gear pair, or fit a different pair (option-

al extra) to change the turning speed of the knife tine.

Changing the gears:

 Tilt the rotary harrow forwards 

slightly (using the top link) and remove the rear cover 

plate (

), taking care not to damage its sealing gas-

ket. 

In the case of PTO through drive (not illustrated) take 

additional care with the rotary shaft lip seal.

Fit the gear wheels so that the punched number indicat-

ing the tooth-count faces towards the rear; in the case 

of gear wheels with raised hub (see

), the raised hub 

should face the bearing. 

Use only gear-pairs with the same colour coding.

Kreiseldrehzahlen

Kreiseldrehzahl und Fahrgeschwindigkeit (

max. ca.

)  beeinflussen  maßgebend  die  gewünschte

Krümelung.
Es ist die möglichst niedrigste Drehzahl zu wählen,
bei der noch gute Arbeit geleistet wird.
Hohe  Kreiseldrehzahlen  verursachen  höheren  Mes-
serverschleiß!

Es  sind  nur  Drehzahlen  zu  verwenden,  die  in  den
Tabellen aufgeführt sind; die jeweils angegebene ca.
Höchst-Fahrgeschwindigkeit  (km/h)  ist  einzuhalten
(Verhältnis von Werkzeug- zu Fahrgeschwindigkeit).

Wechselradgetriebe:

 als Grundausrüstung ist das

Zahnradpaar 29/36 eingebaut (29 = Eingangswelle).
Durch Umstecken dieses Zahnradpaares oder Einsatz
anderer  Zahnradpaare  (Zusatzausrüstung)  ist  die
Kreiseldrehzahl  zu  ändern.

Zahnradwechsel:

 Kreiselegge etwas nach vorn nei-

gen (mit Oberlenker) und hinteren Getriebedeckel ab-
nehmen  (

)  –  auf  Deckeldichtung  achten.

Bei Zapfwellendurchtrieb (ohne Abbildung) zusätzlich
auf Wellendichtring achten.

Die Zahnräder so einsetzen, daß die eingeschlagene
Zähnezahl  nach  hinten  weist;  bei  Zahnrädern  mit
Nabenvorsprung (siehe
