Oil separator components
3. Remove the oil separator (OS).
4. Clean the seat on air receiver/oil tank (AR).
Place the new separator into the air receiver/oil tank and replace the vessel cover (Ac) with the bolts.
Take care that no dirt drops into the system. Refit and tighten filler plug (FC).
5. Remove filler plug (FC).
Fill the oil tank (AR) with oil until the level reaches the middle of sight-glass (Gl).
6. Run the compressor loaded for a few minutes. Stop the compressor and wait a few minutes to allow
the oil to settle.
7. Depressurise the system by unscrewing filler plug (FC) just one turn to permit any pressure in the
system to escape. Remove the plug.
Fill the oil tank with oil. The oil level should be between the top of the sight glass (Gl) and the filling
point (FC).
Tighten the filler plug.
8. Reset the service timer: see Service menu .
