13.9.8 Deck Platform Access Ladder
The Deck Platform can be accessed using the Slide Out Step Ladder on the near side rear of the
appliance. The Deck Platform provides access to the pump set and equipment stored on the Deck
Platform.

To access the Deck Platform area, follow these steps:
1.
Pull out and Turn the Ladder Latch.
2.
Pull the Step Ladder outwards.
3.
Lower the Step Ladder.
4.
Using the three points of contact method, climb the ladder.
5.
Reverse the procedure to return to the ground and stow the access ladder.

WARNING
Ensure the appliance park brake is on before gaining access to the deck to prevent the vehicle
from moving out of control, possibly causing damage or injury.
WARNING
Maintain control of the access ladder when lowering to prevent it from falling possibly causing
equipment damage or injury from striking or crushing.
WARNING
Maintain 3 points of contact when accessing the Deck Platform. Failing to do so may result in
loss of balance and injury from falling.
