To perform a Cross Web Adjustment:
Press the NEXT or PREVIOUS key to cycle through the Cross Web Adj menus
until the print station you want to adjust is displayed.
Press the + or - key to shift the selected print position for the selected print station.
The value range is <16 to 0 to 16 >. The direction of the arrow indicates the
position of the print relative to the center of the printhead. Total range is 32 dots
with 16 dots to the left and 16 dots to the right of printhead center.
Press the SELECT key. An asterisk (*) appears to confirm your choice.
Note
Each time a change is made to the Cross Web settings, the test pattern
will restart.
Continue making adjustments until you observe that the blocks in the test pattern
are horizontally aligned.
When all the blocks are aligned in the media travel and the cross web directions,
and the black block prints without any color shadows, the color alignment is opti-
mal.
