3. DESCRIPTION
3.1 Characteristcs
The machine consists of an automatic group to dispense
coffee; the hydraulic unit consists of a 1.5 liter capacity
boiler for dispensing coffee, hot water and steam.
The machine base and housing are in stainless steel.
3.2 Safety
The boiler is equipped with a mechanical spring pressure
valve calibrated at 2.5 bar and a thermal protector that
interrupts heating in the event of a fault.
The heat exchanger is equipped with a pressure valve
calibrated at 10 bars (pressure present in the coffee
circuit).
The coffee reservoir is equipped with electronic
temperature control and is protected by a safety thermo
fuse to prevent overheating.
The pump is equipped with an automatic reset thermal
protector in case of overheating.
All heating elements subject to electric current are
situated inside the machine housing.
3.3 Vibrations
The machine is equipped with anti-vibration rubber feet.
In normal operating conditions the machine does not
produce vibrations that are harmful to people of things.

6. INTENDED USE
The machine has been designed and built to dispense
coffee and for the preparation of hot beverages (tea,
cappuccino etc.)
Any other use is to be considered improper and therefore
dangerous.
Operators must always follow the instructions for use
and maintenance contained in this manual.
In case of uncertainty or malfunction, switch off the
machine. Do not attempt to carry out repairs or tamper
with the machine. Contact an authorized after-sales
service centre.
The operator must not:
touch hot surfaces with the hands but use only the
appropriate controls;
clean or move the machine when it is hot or without
unplugging it;
unplug the machine by pulling the power cord;
use the machine if the power cord appears damaged;
touch the machine with wet or damp hands or feet;
turn the machine upside down or onto its side;
wash the machine with direct or pressurized jets of
water or with steam;
immerse the machine in water or any other type of
liquid;
operate the machine in the immediate vicinity of
children;
allow minor children or unable persons to operate the
machine;
place containers of liquid on top of the machine.
Should the machine become wet or very damp, it
should not be installed or operated until it is
certain that is thoroughly dried.
It is, however, necessary to have the machine inspected
by the Service Centre first to ascertain if any damage has
been caused to the electrical components.
Contraindications for use
The machine is to be used only for its intended purpose
and not for other purposes such as grinding and
dispensing products other than coffee or non-
edible products.
7. TRASPORT AND PACKING
During transport the box should always be kept in the
correct position as indicated on the outside of the box.
Do not turn the box upside down or turn it on its side.
