Refer to Figure E for the layout of the Quartet IdeaShare Board when used in
whiteboard mode, and “Terminology” on page 15 for a list of terms and definitions for
terms used throughout the Users Manual.
In whiteboard mode, the Quartet IdeaShare Board is connected to a computer and the
computer uses eBeam Software. In whiteboard mode, notes and images that you
draw on the whiteboard are captured electronically, in color, in real time, and available
for storage and display both locally and remotely through your local intranet or the
Internet.
See “Using eBeam Software with the Quartet IdeaShare Board” on page 15 for more
information about using the software.
To use the Quartet IdeaShare Board as a digital whiteboard:
1. Set up the electronic pens, the electronic eraser, and the software as shown on the
Quick Set Up Guide.
2. Plug the USB cable’s USB A connector to the computer, and the USB B connector to
the appropriate USB port located on the underside of the Quartet IdeaShare Board
tray. See Figure F.
