Setting the Library Options

To set the library options:

Turn on the library by pushing power button located on the bottom left-hand corner
of the OCP (see
figure 22
).

The OCP asks you:
“Are the Shipping Restraints Removed?”
(
YES
or
NO
).

Press
YES
to continue.

The OCP asks again:
“Are you sure the Hand & Thumb Screw Restraints have been Removed?”
(
YES
or
NO
).

Press
YES
to continue. The library continues the boot process. When complete, the
Home
screen displays.

Press
Setup
from the
Home
screen. The OCP displays the
Setup
screen (see
figure 25
):

From the
Setup
screen, use the up and down arrows to highlight
Cabinet
and press
Enter
.
The
Cabinet

Note:
If the library encounters difficulties during the boot process, there may be
obstructions inside the library. The the OCP will display:
"Please Remove
Restraining Bolt, or Hand Restraint. See User's Guide.”
Shut down the
library, open the doors with the emergency access tool and check for
obstructions. Be sure to check for the restraining bolt on the left side of the
cabinet (see the
Scalar 50
User’s Guide
PN 81-81768 located on the
documentation CD for more information).
