The
Community Management
page displays a list of all the
ALERT
SNMP
community settings configured for the PMC. To perform
SNMP
get
and
set
operations, SNMP management software must
specify a community name as part of the context of the request. To
perform a
set
operation, the SNMP management software must
provide a community name with "Read-write" privileges. All
SNMP requests must conform to the IP access rules.

To access the
Community Management
page, in the navigation
frame under
ALERT SNMP
, click
Community Management.
The
management frame displays the
Community Management
page (see
figure 9 ).

community, or a community with insufficient access
