DHCP for dynamic IP addressing. In the 

event a DHCP server is unavailable, the other 

fields will apply. The default value is

Hostname

View or set the hostname for the PMC, for 

example, the DNS name. The default value is 

PMC300-[MAC address]

. When entering a 

hostname, no spaces are allowed. 

Underscores are acceptable.

Domain

View or set the domain for the PMC, for 

example, 

quantum.com

 is the domain for 

Quantum Corporation. The default value is 

the 

[local domain]

.

IP Address

View or set the IP address for the PMC. The 

default IP address is 

192.168.1.1

Subnet Mask

View or set the subnet mask for the PMC. The 

default subnet mask is

Default Gateway

View or set the default gateway for the PMC. 

The default value is
