Replacing a Node CMOS Battery
This section describes how to remove and replace a CMOS battery in the DXi6900-S Node.
Caution:
Use appropriate ESD precautions, including the use of a grounding strap, when performing
this procedure.

Identifying a Failed CMOS Battery
To identify a failed CMOS battery in the DXi6900-S Node:
1. Log on to the remote management console as the service user (see
Accessing Remote Management on
).
2. Navigate to the
Status > Hardware > Summary
page, and then click
System Board
.
The
System Board Details
window displays.
