7.17 Library Calibration Procedure
The RLS has been designed to detect when it needs to be calibrated and will place a
message on the control panel at that time. Normal library operation will not continue
until the calibration process has been completed.

1. To perform the calibration procedure the Private page must be accessed and it is
a privileged, password-protected page. This means that a password must be set
to gain access to the items in the Private page.
2. The libraries Security Identity passwords are entered on the Configura-
tion/Library/Identification and Security screen. See Figure 7-37. To enter a
password press the Edit button, which will bring up a screen that allows data to
be entered as shown in Figure 7-38.
