A. Put on safety glasses. Using a stud finder (following manufactures instructions) follow rafter board mounting line
marks to locate rafters. Mark the center of the ceiling rafters. Drill 7/32 holes in a straight line square to the rafters
(framing square is recommended). Space Front to Back holes to board mounting hole spacing.
STEP 2: DRILL CEILING RAFTER ATTACHMENT POINTS
B. Drill Mounting Boards:
Measure center-to-center distance between 7/32”
rafter holes. Mark distance on mounting boards.
Mark drill points along mounting board and Drill 5/16”
holes completely through the mounting boards.
C. Attach mounting boards using 5/16” lag bolts and
washers (not included) to Rafters. Allow room for
mounting 2”x 4” towards front wall. Mark drill
points with pencil along the center of board. Drill
5/16” holes completely through the mounting boards.
Attach mounting boards to ceiling.
