button. After changing the operation mode, the system must reboot
manually to take effect.
TIP
Single controller supports SATA drives (single port), but dual controller
supports SAS drives (dual port) or SATA drives plus MUX board for dual
channel. In dual controller mode, it is recommended to use SAS drives for
better performance.
4.2.
Installing Optional Memory Modules
Standard system memory capacity for XF2026 is 32GB DDR4. If you purchase additional
optional memory module for your storage system, please refer to the following image and table
for the suggested sequence of memory module installation. It is requested that the installation
slot and capacity of the memory module MUST be the same for both controllers.
In XF2026, there are four DIMM slots for expansion of memory capacity. The installation
sequence for the memory module with the same capacity should be: #3

#4 due to slot
#1 and #2 are memory bank 1; slot #3 and #4 are bank 2. Balance the memory size of two banks
will keep the optimized system performance. The installation sequence is applicable for dual or
single controller module.
