Before you start to use VioStor, please install the hardware and configure the
system.

2.1

Install Hardware

Please follow the steps below to install the hardware:

Install the hard disk(s).

Connect the network cable and power cord.

Turn on the power.

Take out the disk trays.

Install a hard disk on each tray. Make sure the disk holes match the holes at the
base of the disk tray and lock the disk with four screws.
