Record Schedule / Quality Setting
The Record Setup menu allows users to set recording quality, recording
schedules, and other recording parameters. Login with a proper account to
access Record Setup menu. In the Main menu, move the cursor to <Record
Setup> and press ENTER; the following menu is displayed.

Record Mode Setup
The Record Mode Setup menu allows users to setup record resolution, etc.
The relative record settings, such as preset configuration, will follow the
record mode setting. The menu is displayed as the following.

Select record resolution of the video from 720*480, 720*240, and 352*240
for NTSC systems. If the video system is PAL, the options will be 720*576,
720*288, and 352*288.
Record Format of the video is H.264. It is “read-only”.
Max Rec. PPS will be changed automatically according to the record
resolution selected.
Set the recording bit rate as CBR (Constant Bit Rate) or VBR (Variable Bit
Rate).
It is strongly suggested to use VBR encoding when reliable video quality is
the top priority.
