Filler boards are supplied to make up the berth.
They are stored in a canvas bag that can also be
used to store the table cover. To install the filler
boards, place the protective cover over the
table and lower the table by lifting the cam lock
lever and pushing down on the table top.
Secure the table in the down position by push-
ing the cam lock lever down. Position the filler
board assembly on the table. Depress the
detent and swing the leg into position. Depress
the detent in the leg and extend the leg until the
detent locks into position. Unfold the rear
section and align the pins in the under side of
the board with the holes in the support cleats.
Push the pins firmly in place. Place the sepa-
rate berth cushions on the table top to complete
the berth conversion.
The table should be lowered to the berth posi-
tion whenever the boat is run offshore or in
heavy sea conditions to prevent damage to the
pedestal assembly.
Daylight and fresh air are provided to this area by two opening port windows and by an overhead
opening hatch. Additional lighting is provided by 12-volt lights on the bulkheads. The air
conditioning control unit, the AC and DC breaker panels, and the carbon monoxide detector are
located on the galley bulkhead.
If the boat is equipped with the optional air conditioner, it will be mounted in the forward part of
the V-berth storage compartment. Be careful when storing items in this compartment when the air
conditioner is installed. Items stored on or immediately next to the air conditioning unit could cause
damage to the air conditioner or be damaged by heat or condensation.
10.6 Video and Sound System
