Serial Line Properties Commands
The SIPL provides commands to get/set the properties of the MMC serial interfaces (the serial
debug interface and the payload interface):
“Get Serial Interface Properties Command,” on page 65
“Set Serial Interface Properties Command,” on page 65
Get Serial Interface Properties Command
The
Get Serial Interface Properties
command is used to get the properties of a particular
serial interface. This command has the following synopsis:
[B8 xx 01 0A 40 00
<interface ID>

parameter can have one of the values shown in
<interface ID> Parameter Values,”
below.
The MMC responds to the
Get Serial Interface Properties
command with the following reply:

Set Serial Interface Properties Command

Set Serial Interface Properties
command is used to change the properties of a given

If this bit is set, the MMC enables echo for the given
serial interface.
