We suggest adding at least two drainage holes. Without them, the uncured resin would end up
being trapped inside your finished print. However, be careful: printing a hollowed object can create
a suction effect, which makes the object more difficult to detach from the bottom of the tank. This
is why it is vital to have a correctly positioned drainage hole - it also serves to negate the suction
effect.
You need PrusaSlicer 2.2 or newer to access the Hollowing tool.
Hollowing can be configured for each model individually using the Hollowing tool in the left
toolbar. Alternatively, you can configure hollowing for all models at once in
Print Settings -
Hollowing.
The hollowing and drainage hole workflow is non-destructive. Hollowing can be canceled and
drainage holes can be moved or removed at any time.
