3.2 Area of application
The DLU is a fully integrated can line sensor for industrial use, for the detection of can motion and can
jam.
The DLU can detect cans in the diameter 53
– 86 mm, at a distance of max 5 mm.

4.1 Equipment Data

relevant datasheet.
4.2 Connection
A 4-pole plug is available on the DLU in accordance with M12 industrial standard. This connection
provides for optimal shielding and a high IP rating. In plugged condition, connector meets protection
level IP 67.
Suitable female connectors with cable in different lengths are available. Please ask the manufacturer.

All DLU outputs are always protected against short circuit.
Note
: The connection cable is provided with flying
leads. It is the user’s responsibility to take
adequate measures to prevent a short circuit.
