Ethernet Port

To configure the Ethernet interface, click the

Configure

button, the

Interfaces

tab, and the

Ethernet

sub-tab.

You can set the

Configuration

parameter from this tab. Select from the following settings for the type of Ethernet

transmission.

10 Mbit/s – half-duplex
10 Mbit/s – full-duplex
10 Mbit/s – auto-duplex
100 Mbit/s – half-duplex
100 Mbit/s – full-duplex
autospeed-half-duplex
autospeed-auto-duplex

Half-duplex

means that only one side can transmit at a time.

Full-duplex

lets both sides transmit.

Auto-duplex

selects the best transmission mode for the given configuration.

The recommended setting is

auto-speed-auto-duplex

.
