3.6.6 Create Hot Spare
The Create Hot Spare option gives you the ability to define a global hot spare.
When you choose the Create Hot Spare option in the Raid Set Function, all unused (non
Raid Set member) disk drives in the subsystem appear. Select the target disk drive by clicking
on the appropriate check box. Tick on the
Confirm The Operation and click on the Submit
button to create hot spare drive(s).
3.6.7 Delete Hot Spare
Select the target Hot Spare disk to delete by clicking on the appropriate check box.
Tick on the Confirm The Operation , and click on the Submit button in the screen to delete the
hot spares.
