The captured HART packets are tabulated as follows:

Statistic
Description
Index
The packet index, incremented for each packet sent or received.
Time
The elapsed time since the module powered up.
Status
The status of the packet. Received packets are checked for valid HART constructs
and valid checksums.
Ch
The HART channel where the packet was captured.
Dirn
The direction of the packet, either transmitted (Tx) or received (Rx).
Addr
The HART slave device short address.
Cmd
The HART command sent or received
Description
A basic description of the captured packet. If the user double-clicks on the
description it will provide a more detailed description.
Data
The raw HART data.
The packet capture can be saved to a file for further analysis, by selecting the
Save
button on the toolbar. Previously saved HART Packet Capture files can be viewed by
selecting the HART
Packet Capture Viewer
option in the
Tools
menu.
