Cluster
A node can be removed from a NAS Gateway cluster with 2 or more nodes.
If there is only a single node, then
it is necessary to delete the NAS Gateway cluster entirely.
To delete a node from a multiple node cluster, follow these steps:
1.
Select the NAS Gateway cluster you will assign a new node to, click on the gear and choose the
Setup
NAS Gateway
option. The
NAS Gateway Setup Wizard
menu appears.
2. Click on the trash can icon for the node that will be removed, click
Next
to go to the next Wizard menu.
Important
Once you choose to delete the node by clicking the trash can
icon, the node cannot be added again in this procedure. If
you want to add the deleted node back to the cluster, it will
be necessary to go through the add new node procedure
described in the previous section.
