If you are using the standard solution in future, always insert
the standard solution so that the pointer of the indexing ring
points forward. Slowly turn the standard solution back and
forth about 5 times to find the lowest point.

The standard solution is now indexed and ready to use.
7.1.4 Calibration process
We recommend keeping the measuring chamber covered during
the calibration process and removing the cuvette immediately after
calibration to prevent the premature saturation of the dessicant.
The range 0 ... 100 NTU is described separately. If a different
range is selected, the DULCO turb C will ask for suitable standard
solutions for calibration during calibration.

1.
Select the calibration function of the DULCO turb C by
pressing the Exit key once. The arrow next to CAL lights up
on the display. The number 100 (the value of the standard
solution requested) and the symbol of the Exit key alternate
on the lower display. The upper display shows the true value
so that the standard can be indexed.

2.
Open the measuring chamber.
3.
INFORMATION: To calibrate only for 10 NTU and below,
press the DOWN key to bypass the 100 NTU and proceed
with step 5.
Insert the 100 NTU standard solution. Rotate the standard
solution in the measuring chamber so that the lowest value is
displayed in the upper line of the display.
