5.2.1 Operating mode: AUTO
‘AUTO’ operating mode is the normal operating mode. This is the
standard operating mode when the power supply is switched on or
restored. The other 3 operating modes are limited to 15 minutes
without a key being pressed, and then these operating modes
return to AUTO mode.
5.2.2 Operating mode: CAL
CAL is the calibration operating mode. All the measured value out‐
puts and alarms are contained within this operating mode. The
device was calibrated and tested before leaving the factory. It is
therefore possible to use the device as soon as it has been
unpacked. Under normal conditions, recalibration is required once
every 3 months. Calibration every 3 months ensures that the per‐
formance lies within the precision specifications.
Call up the
‘CAL’ operating mode of the device by pressing the UP
or DOWN arrow keys until the arrow lights up beside
‘CAL’ . Then
press the EXIT key.
Use the UP or DOWN arrow keys to move forwards and back‐
wards through the calibration points.
Press the UP or DOWN arrow keys to exit
‘CAL’ mode and start a
calibration point once the countdown has begun. Press the EXIT
key when ABRT appears on the screen.
The relay contacts and the 4 ... 20 mA are frozen (in the current
status), while the device is in calibration mode.
In calibration mode, the device has a timeout function that auto‐
matically allows the system operation to return to AUTO mode after
15 minutes if the device has not been used for 15 minutes.
5.3 Operating mode: CONFIG
‘CONFIG’ is the configuration operating mode. In this operating
mode, you can adapt the device to your needs and your preferred
operation at any time during normal operation. The CONFIG oper‐
ating mode is sub-divided into sub-menus to facilitate the configu‐
ration of the device. You can also download logged files and cali‐
bration protocols here and upload new software if it is available.
Call up the CONFIG operating mode of the device by pressing the
UP or DOWN arrow keys until the arrow lights up beside CONFIG
and then press the EXIT key.
Press the EXIT key to leave CONFIG mode at any time.
Use the UP or DOWN arrow keys to move forwards and back‐
wards in the menus.
All read outputs and alarms are held in this operating mode. The
relay contacts and the 4 ... 20 mA are frozen (in the current status)
while the device is in configuration mode. In configuration mode,
the device has a timeout function that automatically allows the
system operation to return to AUTO mode after 15 minutes if the
device has not been used for 15 minutes.
