TRANSPORT IN THE CAR
To load the MOTOTRONIK device into the car, the device and battery must be turned off and it is advisable to disassemble all removable parts.
Hereafter, you will find the recommended sequence of operations to be carried out.
Depending on your physical abilities and also depending on the type of vehicle into which the device is to be loaded, some of these operations may be different.
•
Turn the display off (see chapter 12.3).
•
Turn the battery off (see chapter 10.1).
•
Remove the battery (see chapter 10.2).
•
Remove the motor unit from the wheelchair (see chapter 11.3).
•
Remove the connection frame from the wheelchair (see chapter 11.4).
•
Remove the stand from the motor unit (see chapter 11.6).
•
Load the parts individually into the car's boot
–
to balance the weight of the motor unit, take hold, with one hand, of the fork's tube between the two supports

and, with the other hand, of the fork's
tube just under the support

•
To remount the MOTOTRONIK, mount the stand and then follow the instructions above in the opposite sequence.
During the closing phase of MOTORONIK, pay the utmost attention not to
damage the (electric and mechanic) wires that run inside the frame of the device.
Perform the opening and closing operations slowly, making sure that the wires
do not interfere with moving parts, as these could pinch or break.
If some elements of the electric or mechanical system get damaged during the
opening and closing of the MOTORONIK device, do NOT under any
circumstances use the device and take it immediately to an authorised
Rehateam s.r.l. service centre.
