11.2 Coupling the motor unit to the connection frame
Slowly, with your wheelchair, get close to the motor unit (the stand holds it in an upright position) until aligning the hook

Stop the wheelchair with its own parking brakes.
Take hold of the handlebar on both grips and pull it towards yourself so that the axle gets into the hook.
If it fails to get in, the lock double hook

may be in "lock position"

To bring the double hook into the "open position"

press the

button.
Now, push the handlebar forwards and upward until the double hook
M
inserts and automatically locks over the lower axle

of the motor unit central block.
The lock double hook must be in "lock position". Attempt to shake the system to make sure the coupling is secure.
Check that the front wheels are between 3 and 5 cm above the ground.
Before starting to drive the MOTOTRONIK, always check the system is securely locked as mentioned above.
