Personnel requirements 

In this manual the qualifications of 
personnel for the various areas of 
activity are listed below.

If unqualified personnel perform tasks on the device, or 
are in the danger zone of the device, there is danger of 
injury. 

 

 

User 

 

The user uses and operates the device within the framework of in-
tended use, without additional previous knowledge. 

Trained electrician 

 

 

The trained electrician is able to carry out work on electric systems 
and to recognize and avoid possible dangers due to his professional 
training, knowledge and experience as well as profound knowledge of 
applicable regulations. 

The trained electrician has been trained specifically for his working 
environment and he has profound knowledge of relevant standards 
and regulations. 

The trained electrician must comply with all legal requirements regard-
ing workplace safety and accident prevention. 

Specialized personnel 

 

 

Specialized personnel are personnel, who due to their professional 
training, skills, and experience, as well as knowledge of the applicable 
regulations are capable of executing the tasks assigned to them, and 
of recognizing possible hazards and avoiding them on their own.

Certain tasks should only be performed by our specialized personnel. 
No one else is authorized to perform these tasks. Contact our service 
organization for execution of the required tasks; see the address on 
page 2. 

 

Only persons of whom it can be expected that they reliably execute 
their work are considered as personnel. Persons whose capability to 
react is impaired, for instance through drugs, alcohol, or medication, 
are not approved. 

Comply with age-specific and job-specific regulations that are applica-
