respond to the 

transmitter

keel or sails

Boat tends to turn 

one direction

Sails are not centered

Center and adjust the sails and control lines for 

the wind and water conditions

Adjust or repair rudder, connectors or servo

Boat tends to drift

The rigging is worn or broken

closed on the hull before returning the boat to

not respond to 

transmitter, while 

rudder does

Winch servo is disconnected

Connect servo to receiver

Winch, servo, line or other parts are blocked 

or damaged

Repair or replace parts

Servo travel is too low

Adjust travel

Trim is incorrect
