2. Do not use the tool if any parts are damaged, broken or
misplaced. Repair or replace the parts.
3. Never apply torque that exceeds the maximum torque (see
Specifications).
4. Do not use as a nut breaker.
5. Do not subject the torque wrench to an impact. A damaged
wrench may be unusable or inaccurate.
OPERATION
WARNING! Do not operate the tool if any part is missing. Replace
the missing part before operating. Failure to do so could result in a
malfunction and personal injury.
IMPORTANT! Only use to tighten a nut or bolt.
1.
Hold the body tube and pull the
locking ring (C) back to free the
knurled handle (D).
2. Rotate the handle dial clockwise
or counterclockwise to set the
desired torque.
3. Rotate the knurled handle until the handle’s edge meets the
horizontal line on the body tube that marks the nearest in.-lb
increment below your target torque.
4. Rotate the knurled handle to line up in.-lb number mark on the minor
scale (B) with the vertical line on the major scale (A).
5. Push the locking ring forward to complete the torque setting.
6. Attach the ratchet head or an open end wrench adapter to the torque
wrench. One of the buttons on either side of the connector will pop
out slightly.
7. Turn the ratchet head dial clockwise to set the driver to tighten
from the left to the right. Turn the dial the other way to set the
driver to tighten from right to left.
