Extending the cooking time
You can extend the cooking time in 30-sec-
ond increments while cooking. However, this
is
not possible
with automatic programs.

‘ ’ button (17) during the cooking pro-
cess. The remaining cooking time is ex-

Setting the power level
Your microwave oven has 6 power levels:
–
100
(100 %, 700 Watt) for quick cooking or
warming up, e.g. for soups, stews, canned
dishes, hot drinks, vegetables, fish, etc.
–
80
(80 %, 560 Watt) for longer cooking of
more compact food, such as roasts, meat-
loaf and plate dishes; can even be used for
delicate dishes such as cheese sauces or
cakes with creamed batter such as pound
or marble cakes. With this lower setting,
sauces do not boil over and the food cooks
evenly without getting hard at the edge or
overflowing.
–
60
(60 %, 420 Watt) for more compact
food, which requires a long cooking time
when cooking on the stove, e.g. beef dish-
es; this power level is recommended so
that the meat remains tender.
–
40
(40 %, 280 Watt) to cook rice, noodles
and dumplings and to cook baked egg pud-
ding.
–
20
(20 %, 140 Watt) for rapid defrosting,
e.g. for puff pastry.
–
00
(0 %, 0 Watt) for air circulation. Micro-
wave idle mode.
– Press the ‘Microwave’ button (20) to
choose the power level.
– You can set the desired power by pressing
