Risk of fi re!
Improper handling of the appliance
may lead to a fi re and to damage to
property.
■
To ensure suffi cient air circulation,
the notes in chapter „Setup and start-
up“ on page GB-15 must be observed.
■
Only use containers made of micro-
waveable, heat resistant material. Do
not use baking paper or similar during
grill, hot-air or multi-function mode.
■
Monitor the microwave when heating
up or cooking food in fl ammable ma-
terials such as plastic or paper con-
tainers. There is a risk of infl amma-
tion.
■
Do not place objects (cookery books,
oven mitts, etc.) in the cooking com-
partment. Accidentally turning on
the microwave can damage or even
ignite these objects.
■
Do not use the microwave to dry food
or clothing or to heat up heating
pads, slippers, sponges, damp clean-
ing cloths, and the like. This may re-
sult in injuries, infl ammation or a fi re.
■
Never heat fl ammable objects or
foods containing alcohol in the mi-
crowave.
■
Never use the microwave for deep-fry-
ing or heating up oil! The tempera-
ture of the oil cannot be controlled.
■
In case of a fi re or smoke in the cook-
ing compartment: Do not open the
door! Switch off the microwave, pull
out the mains plug or isolate the fuse
in your fuse box.
Risk of injury!

The appliance is heavy and bulky.
Seek the help of another person dur-
ing transport, when setting up and
positioning.
■
Do not use the door handle for car-
rying.
■
The door must not be used as a step
or for support.

Do not use sharp objects to unpack
the appliance.
■
Never
remove the cover in the cook-
ing compartment! It is designed to
protect the magnetron, which emits
the microwaves.
■
Never operate the microwave with-
out a rotary plate and never without
food!
■
Always place the cooking containers
on the rotary plate. Liquid is thus pre-
vented from entering the appliance
should it boil over.
■
Only heat plastic containers from the
freezer until the food can be trans-
ferred to another container.
■
Metal in the cooking compartment
can produce sparks during microwave
and multi-function mode! This can
destroy the microwave and the view-
ing window! Do not use metal pots,
metal pans and metal lids or cook-
ware with metal parts such as gold
edges under any circumstances.

Do not use aluminium foil, as it may
also produce sparks when it touch-
