Operation
Using the microwave oven
WARNING
Risk due to microwaves!
A door that fails to close adequately
can cause microwave radiation to leak
out. The appliance must not be used in
such a case.
■
Pay particular attention to the clean-
liness of the door seals and the door
sealing surfaces with all adjacent
parts.
■
Do not operate the appliance if the
door is warped or damaged, or if the
door latch, hinges, or door seals are
defective, or if the door does not close
tightly for any other reason.

Improper handling of the appliance
may result in damage or may cause a
fi re.
■
In case of a fi re or smoke in the cook-
ing compartment:
Do not open the
door
! Switch off the appliance, pull
out the mains plug or isolate the fuse
in your fuse box or switch off the ap-
pliance.
CAUTION
Risk of scalding!
Heating the liquid can cause delayed
boiling. This may cause liquid to sud-
denly spray out, for example when
removing a container from the micro-
wave.

To avoid delayed boiling, place a
spoon in the container.
■
Make sure that the spoon always has
a safe distance of at least 2 cm from
the inside walls of the microwave.
NOTICE
Risk of damage to property!
Improper handling of the appliance
may result in damage of the appliance.

Never remove the cover in the cook-
ing compartment! It is designed to
protect the magnetron
, which emits
the microwaves.
■
Do not operate the appliance with an
external timer or a separate remote
control system.
■
Never operate the microwave with-
out a rotary plate and
never without
food
!
Fast cooking
This function allows you to start cooking im-
mediately, without having to make any fur-
ther adjustments. With fast cooking, food is
cooked for 30 seconds at maximum power.
• Press the ‘ ’ button (17).
The cooking process starts; the remaining
cooking time counts down in the display.
