The front LCD panel of the transmitter displays its current status and configured settings and allows you to perform
diagnostic tasks.
Overview of the LCD Panel
The front LCD panel of the transmitter displays its current status, configured settings, and allows you to perform
diagnostic tasks. The transmitter settings are configured within the transmitter setting panel located on the back of the
transmitter.

LED Status Indicator:
status and operating condition of the transmitter unit. For additional information, see
"LED Status Indicator - XR Transmitter" located on page 36.
l
Time:
current time set in the transmitter. For additional information, see "Time Zone and Time Settings" located
on page 37.
l
Time Zone:
time zone set in the transmitter. For additional information, see "Time Zone and Time Settings"
located on page 37.
l
British Summer Time (BST):
DST setting. DT (British Summer Time) or ST (Standard Time) will be displayed. For
additional information, see "Time Zone and Time Settings" located on page 37.
l
Time Source Connection:
indicates the configured time source; GPS (tower symbol), NTP (S symbol), Repeater
(R symbol), or Satellite.
l
Time Source Communication:
status of GPS or NTP communication. For additional information, see "Time
Source Communication Status" located on page 35.
l
Firmware Version:
firmware version of the transmitter.
l
Day/Date:
day and date received from the GPS or NTP time source.
l
Channel Number:
channel number that the transmitter is set to.
l
Menu:
review transmitter settings and perform diagnostic tasks. For additional information, see "Main Menu
Display - XR Transmitter" located on page 37.

Time Source Communication Status
The status of the GPS receiver is indicated by the GPS communication indicator.
l
GPS:
When the
symbol is displayed, the GPS receiver is connected to the transmitter and there is proper
communication between the GPS Receiver and the transmitter. When the transmitter is receiving valid time data
from the GPS receiver, the three parentheses symbol
will sequence in a motion pattern.
