Installation and Configuration Overview

Review the Installation Guidelines and identify the installation location of the transmitter and system
components. For additional information, see "Transmitter Installation Location Guidelines" located on page 14.
l
Inspect system components to verify packaging includes all supplied parts for each system component and
verify no damage has occurred during shipping.
l
Do not install or attempt to set the system wireless clocks or devices until the transmitter and its components are
installed and configured, the transmitter is powered, ts time source is configured, and the transmitter is fully
operational.
Summary of Installation
Listed below is a summary of the order in which the transmitter, external antenna, and its components are to be installed
and configured.
1. Assemble the ground plane omindirectional antenna.
2. Assemble the antenna mast.
3. Route the antenna LMR 400 coaxial cable.
4. Route the GPS cable.
5. Install the GPS receiver.
6. Secure the antenna to mast.
7. Ground the antenna mast.
8. Ground the transmitter.
9. Connect the transmitter time source.
10. Configure the NTP time (optional).
11. Establish the transmitter settings and verify connections.
12. Verify the system is operational.
