Controls and Displays

Starting Up and Operation

ID indicator (blue)

ID indicators on the front and rear of the server light up when the ID 
button is pressed. The two ID indicators are synchronized.

Lights up blue when the system has been selected by pressing the ID 
button. To deactivate, press the button again.

The ID indicator can also be activated via 

ServerView

 and its status 

reported to 

ServerView

.

LAN transfer rate indicator (bicolor)

Lights orange for a LAN transfer rate of 1 Gbps.

Lights green for a LAN transfer rate of 100 Mbps.

Does not light up for a LAN transfer rate of 10 Mbps (or if there is no LAN 
connection).

LAN connection/Active indicator (green)

Lights green if a LAN link exists.

Does not light up if a LAN link does not exist.

Flashes green when a LAN transfer occurs.
