Adjustments and Maintenance
This section provides information on how to tension the
cables due to incorrect installation, misalignments, or
cable stretching. Obvious signs that Cable problems
exist include:
✔
The Top Cap Weight does not rest squarely on the
top weight of Weight Stack.
✔
A gap exists between the base of a double or single
pulley dock and the cross piece that it rests on.
✔
The Cable rubs the inside edges of the pulleys.
✔
Excess slack exists in the Cables.
Note:
All cables stretch. If you use the equipment often
and consistently select a higher weight resistance, the
cables lengthen, which causes slack.
Important:
To make cable adjustments, use a hex key
to remove the eight bolts and washers that secure the
Rear Shroud. Set the fasteners and shroud aside.
