Begin assembly

DANGER

DO NOT attempt to connect electrical power until all assembly procedures are complete and the console is properly installed.

To install the console mount:

Before you begin

this procedure, retrieve the electrical and communication cables for

the console that you plan to install on this EFX. These cables are shipped with the

console.
1. Position the display mount on top of the base frame and attach it using the four

bolts

  (see Figure 2). Fully tighten all bolts (torque=180 in-lbs, 20 N-m).

Figure 2

2.

For touchscreen consoles:

Group all four cables--communication, coax, power

extension supply, and Ethernet--and thread them upward through the center

column and out through the center opening in the console mount. Tape it to the

top of the console mount to secure it temporarily.

Note

  For non-touchscreen consoles,the communication cable is pre-threaded.

Important

DO NOT stretch, crimp, or damage the cable.

Cables damaged by improper installation will not be covered by the Precor Limited

Warranty.
