Calculating the temperatures in case of fan failure
1- To calculate the maximum temperature inside the cabinet and Teleline shelf in
the event of a fan failure, repeat the above procedure but replace the numbers
detailed below.
2- In step 6, replace 0.06 with 0.207ºF/W (0.115ºC/W).
3- In step 7, replace 0.04 with 0.117ºF/W (0.065ºC/W).
4- In step 9, replace 0.7 with 1.35ºF/W (0.75ºC/W).

If the temperature obtained inside the Teleline shelf is higher than the
temperature of any of the cards as listed in Table 16, then the
installation must be redesigned to bring down the temperature, either by
reducing the ambient temperature or by decreasing the number of
cards in the Teleline shelf to decrease the power dissipation.
